Do forgive me, Slipstream... I was under the impression that you desired power to enforce your own independence, after the lack of it cost you so dearly in the past.

Not to use it to become a more obedient lackey. Was I mistaken?

[She's not sure how she feels about the insinuation that Megatron will hurt her. The thing is, it has happened in the past, many, many times. Slipstream has never discounted the idea that he'll hurt her again, but she feels that this is a normal part of what being a Decepticon is about: Serving Megatron faithfully no matter what.

She bottles up those feelings and shoves 'em right down.]
