[quintessa gets a call out of the blue from mikaela, and her voice is very shaky. it sounds like she's either hurt, barely holding herself together, or maybe both at once.

(it's both at once).]

I need you over. Please.

[ Quintessa doesn't bother to respond over the comm, but merely vanishes from where she was to reappear next to Mikaela in a soft flash of blue light. ]

What is it? What has happened?

[she kind of crumples the moment quintessa shows up. whatever happened in the vision, the pain is still lingering and it's making it difficult to remain as well put together as she usually is.]

Vision. It was a bad one. [she says, then finally loses all control and kind of slumps over onto quintessa, not crying loudly but definitely crying.

considering she managed to hold herself together after visions from unicron, this one was... yeah.]

[ The Prime is the very picture of motherly concern, cradling Mikaela and running her hand gently across the young woman's back. A role she's gotten better at embracing lately with more aboard the ship taking her into their confidence. ]

It was not one you sought, then.

It won't happen again. I will make you an intercessionary today, if you'll accept it.

[ She wants to know what the vision was of, but she will wait until Mik's had a chance to calm. ]

[it takes her about ten minutes or so to get it out, because every time she feels like she calms down, her mind just goes back to that poor, hurt little creature crying in so much agony and fear. it takes some genuine effort to actually calm down enough so quin isn't stuck with her wailing for hours and hours.

it's nice resting against her shoulder, as much as it can be in this situation. mikaela's never had a parental figure that would comfort her like this. she's never really had anyone that would.

she stays silent for a long time even after her face has dried, considering what quintessa says.]

Maybe. I get these for a reason-- I accepted this knowing it wouldn't be easy. [mikaela pulls back, red faced and unkempt, frowning.] I don't know the answer to that.
